QGA™ – Quench-Gone™
Aqueous Formulation
How and Where is this Test Kit Used?
|
 |
Quench-Gone Aqueous (QGA) is based on the measurement of ATP and is designed for low-solids, low-biomass concentration applications. Using a single analysis, you will be able to quickly measure microbiological concentration in any water sample with a wide detection range and a minimum of assay inhibition.
Use QGA to detect total microbiological activity in:
|
-
Cooling Water
-
Fresh Water
-
Reuse Water
|
-
Drinking Water
-
Ultrapure Water
-
Sanitary Water
|
This kit can also be used in the following applications and industries:
QGA uses one analysis of Cellular ATP (cATP™) to directly determine the total microbiological concentration. For the detailed procedure, consult the QGA Quick-Reference Guide. QGA test kits use filtration to concentrate the biomass contained in a water sample, thereby removing inhibition and increasing sensitivity.
QGA is optimized to detect between 0.2 and 667,000 pg ATP/mL using standard procedures, depending on the volume of sample analyzed.
Note: There is no limit to QGA sensitivity. Procedural adaptations can be used to amplify the low-range sensitivity and to accommodate streams with large amounts of solids – these adaptations require additional equipment (LumiFilter™).
QGA products measure the total quantity of microbiological activity in a water sample through a single analysis. Compared to other methods of measuring total microbial load (also known as total flora), QGA provides immediate feedback in minutes.
Use the real-time knowledge gained through QGA analyses to assess microbiological contamination and prevent process deterioration, optimize maintenance, and troubleshoot disinfection programs.
