Sensitivity

LuminUltra’s 2nd generation ATP monitoring technology provides more than adequate sensitivity required for HACCP-based water safety and maintenance programs. The following features show why LuminUltra’s products provide unmatched sensitivity in microbial growth monitoring programs:

Instrument Quality

To maximize sensitivity of the ATP analysis, robust equipment is required. LuminUltra™ supplies its customers with highly sensitive Luminometers based on photomultiplier tube and photon counting technologies that is on par with research-grade instruments but at a fraction of the cost.

Removal of Interferences

LuminUltra’s 2nd generation ATP monitoring technology is the only product available that is not affected by the interferences that are commonplace in water and wastewater samples. By negating inhibitory components (i.e. solids, metals, turbidity, dead microbes) precise results can be obtained.

Enzyme activity

Luminase, the Luciferase-based enzyme reagent from LuminUltra, provides tremendous initial activity and is stable for months whereas conventional ATP suppliers supply enzyme reagents that have a useful life of only days following hydration.

Large sample sizes

For potable water and other low-solids water sources, LuminUltra’s Quench-Gone Aqueous test protocol uses filtration to concentrate microorganisms to reach whatever level of sensitivity is required!
