Quench-Gone Beverage (QGB)
The Quench-Gone Beverage test protocol uses a filtration-based method to concentrate microorganisms on a filter and extracting their ATP. QGB is built on the same premise as QGA in terms of increased sensitivity and removal of interferences through filtration but includes additional provisions to selectively lyse plant cells and remove their ATP from the measurement. This concept can be applied at any point in the beverage manufacturing process – from concentrated syrups to final product.
