Packaging Operator

LuminUltra is currently recruiting for a Packaging Operator to join the Operations Team at our facility in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.

Job Description

As a key member of LuminUltra’s Operation Team, reporting to the Production Manager, the Packaging Operator will have the following responsibilities:

• Operation of automated bottling machine in a clean environment.
• Cleaning and maintenance of automated bottling machine.
• Quality monitoring and measurement during production.
• Label printing and printer maintenance.
• Labelling, packaging, and shrink wrapping of chemical reagent products.
• Break down and labelling of bulk pack consumables.
• Maintaining a neat and tidy workspace daily.
• Identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Adherence to internal and external standards, such as ISO, GMP/GLP, and LuminUltra’s Quality Management System.
• Other duties as assigned.

As the ideal candidate, you possess the following qualifications and skills:

• 1+ years of work experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a Manufacturing / Warehouse setting.
• Experience operating various equipment would be an asset.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
