Bugcount® Fluids
Quantitatively detect total bioburden for samples from oil and gas production operations using Luminultra’s Bugcount® Fluids and Bugcount® Surface.
Luminultra’s 2nd Generation ATP® test kits for oil & gas applications are designed for the rapid quantification of the total active biomass in any sample type – water, oil, or deposits – and provide on-site feedback regardless of the organism type or sample temperature.
Avoid a lag in feedback by using ATP testing to save time and money during oil and gas production operations. ATP is present in all living cells therefore these test kits can be used to assess microbial contamination in under 5 minutes. Use ATP testing as your first line of defense monitoring tool in conjunction with additional molecular analyses like qPCR and Next Generation Sequencing for a complete process microbiological profile.
- Results for each kit are available in 5 minutes from sample collection
- Each kit includes all reagents and disposables needed to analyze your samples with ease
- Interferences such as solids, colour, residual chemical, and other characteristics inherent to sample matrices are mitigated
Luminultra Bugcount® Fluids
The filtration and organic washing steps involved in this kit allow for it to provide a rapid and interference-free determination of total active biomass, for low-solids organic-based samples, such as oilfield-related waters, lubricants, metalworking fluids, and oily brines.
Luminultra Bugcount® Surface
This kit is designed for the measurement of total biological activity in deposits, on biofilm collection devices, in solid products, and on hard surfaces.
- Each individual kit will contain all required reagents, including: UltraLute, UltraLyse, LumiClean, freeze-dried Luminase, UltraCheck
- Required consumables in each kit, including tubes, syringes, filters, bulb pipettes, pipet tips
