The Luminultra Bugcount® Specialty (formerly “Quench-Gone21 Specialty QG21S” test kit) offers rapid, interference-free determination of total microbiological concentration in preserved chemical products like slurries, adhesives, paints, and personal care items
The Bugcount® Specialty test kit is based on the measurement of ATP using Luminultra’s 2nd Generation ATP® technology. It provides a rapid and interference-free determination of total microbiological concentration for preserved chemical products such as slurries, adhesives, paints, coatings, inks, personal care products, home and fabric care products, polymer emulsions, and admixtures.
Use his test kit to quantify total bioburden in high-viscosity, chemical product samples for rapid assessment of contamination and in conjunction with additional analyses for a complete process microbiological profile.
These results allow you to isolate problem areas, determine the root cause, and mitigate the issue – all during the same shift.
This test kit is available in two different formats. The Luminultra Bugcount® Specialty Complete kit analyzes both Total ATP and Dissolved ATP, which can be used to obtain the most accurate indication of cellular ATP. The Luminultra Bugcount® Specialty tATP-only kit only analyzes the Total ATP, which is useful when no differentiation between cellular ATP and extracellular ATP is required.
- Results available in < 5 minutes.
- Low Detection Limit of nominally 20.0pg/ml, although simple test modifications can allow even greater sensitivity.
- Interferences such as organics, high solid/viscous sample, colour, residual chemical, and other characteristics inherent to sample matrices are mitigated.
